Senior Bryn Nesvold removes day 15 to start the last two weeks of high school

Counting down the days

Seniors excitingly get ready for their last day of school

Another absence or missing assignment? The senior slack is getting more intense than ever, with only two weeks left of the school year. Seniors eagerly await the final bell to ring on May 17 when they finish high school.

Senior Student Council Vice President Bryn Nesvold removes day 15 on the summer countdown to start the last two weeks of high school. “I am ready to get out of here but also nervous for the unknown,” said Senior Laura Bertrang. All of the feelings have been shown in these last two weeks. The excitement, anxiety, nervousness, and even sadness as they leave school and enter the real world.

Although the senioritis is getting real, so are all the emotions flowing through the senior class. The anticipation of graduation and summer prepares people to leave school and be free adults. These last two weeks will go by fast and furious, just like how the senior slack caught up on us at the beginning of the year.
