Intro to Trades class takes a tour of M.R. Pavings mine pit by the high school on May 5. He covered the different processes and uses of the sand and aggregate rock materials that are present at the mine. He explained how the operation works with it being right inside town by houses. Both OSHA and MSHA inspect their work to ensure that they are complying with regulations on dust since they are inside of town only a block or two away from houses.

Student and FFA member Aidan Wendinger pictured participates in the blood drive Wednesday March 15. There were many openings for both students and guests from the community to fill. Each blood donation given can be used for up to three people. After you give your blood donation we provided food, snacks and drinks for the participants. The New Ulm FFA chapter has always provided snack and food and drinks after the blood drive to help the people recover to full strength before going about on the rest of their day.

FFA officers stand while the meeting starts. Past and future information was covered this past Tuesday, January 24. The members were served pizza and pop to follow the meeting and were then released to watch the basketball game. Ethan Dake says, the meeting was very good and I enjoy seeing our members.
