My name is Aidan Bastian. I am currently a senior at New Ulm High School. The things I like to do are farm, play hockey, watch sports, hunt, fish, and spend time with friends and family.

On Monday, May 8 the New Ulm FFA chapter held the yearly blood drive at NUHS. There were multiple red cross workers there as well as many people donating.

In the NUHS welding shop on Thursday, Feb. 3 advanced welder Jarrett Platz demonstrates how to use an oxy-acetylene torch to cut material for the intro to welding class. The purpose of intro to welding is so kids can get familiar with the different welding processes. In the future go on to take advanced welding or eagle enterprise down at the CTE center. Ag instructor Ms. Brandt said. The intro to welding class is learning and understanding how to use an oxy- acetylene torch so they would be able to use this skill in the future.
