Mr. Janke is one of the two art teachers at NUHS. He teaches 6 different art classes. Those classes are Pottery and Sculpture, Advanced Pottery and Sculpture, Art Foundations, Drawing and Painting, Digital Art, and Advanced Digital Art. Janke said, “Digital Art is my favorite class to teach because of the technology and different things you can do with the computer.”

Lizzie Shaul is one of the many students enrolled in an art class at NUHS. She is currently taking Pottery and Sculpture. Lizzie said, “I enjoy Pottery and Sculpture because I can be very creative and use my brain. It is nice to have a class that does not have lots of papers to write along with tests to study for. One of the nice things about the art classes at NUHS is the projects we do are not due till the end of the semester, so you have as much time as you want to do a project.”
