This summer Broadway was undergoing construction for close to 5 months. The construction was scheduled to end on September 22. The highway part was a little behind schedule, but was was completed on September 27. The construction started on 7th north and went out to Highway 68. During the construction there were cones dividing the lanes, and only one lane was open at a time. All the stoplights got replaced and were set as four way stops. The lights did not work until September 22, with some taking longer to start working than others. Overall it may have been an inconvenience, but it made Broadway a lot nicer and clean looking.
