Carreon to state

Dylen Carreon, a senior in his third year of wrestling, moved on to state on March 4. Going into his first state tournament Carreon was seeded 4 in the section. In Carreon’s first match he fought hard for all three periods but ultimately lost 15-3. Due to the setup of the bracket and his opponent’s next loss, Carreon’s season ended. However, Carreon maintains to still be one of the top leaders on the team showing that even with less experience putting in the hard work and time you can still achieve success.
