Spring Migration Season Begins

With spring being just around the corner, many of Minnesota’s bird species like this golden crown-kinglet (pictured above) will begin their migration to their seasonal breeding grounds. This means that hundreds of bird species, ranging from ducks to warblers, will begin their 16,000-mile journey along the Mississippi flyway to reach Minnesota and Wisconsin.
