Snow slams Minnesota, forcing numerous schools to close.

Winter is upon us. From getting half of an inch of snow to a full-blown blizzard during finals, winter is hitting Minnesota hard.

Last Friday, New Ulm received five inches of snow with high-speed winds, forcing New Ulm’s schools to close during finals week. While this is great for the students, teachers are struggling with the new semester starting on Wednesday instead of Tuesday, and finals being on Tuesday instead of last Friday.
