A lot of people at New Ulm High School use their school emails for writing emails, creating essays, and keeping their calendars on track. What they don’t know is that Google has many more options to use. Some applications make using your email easier and less complicated even.

They are as follows:

-Search- Web search engine created by google. It is the most-used engine in the world.

-Maps – It is a web mapping service developed by Google. It offers imagery, street maps, and some 360 degree views of streets.

-Translate – It is a multilingual translation service created by google. It can translate text, speech, images, sites, or video from one language to another.

-Chrome – Google Chrome is a web browser based around Googles search engine.

-Youtube – It is the most popular video service on the internet today. It was created in 2005 by three former PayPal employees

-Google Play Music – It is a music and podcast streaming service. People are able to listen to up too 50,000 songs at no cost.

-Chromecast – Chromecast is a media streaming service that connects to your TV to stream your favorite TV shows, movies, music, sports, and games.

-Google Play Movies & TV – This extension allows you stream any movies and shows previously purchased or rented on Google Play.

-Google Allo – Is an instant messaging mobile app developed in May 18, 2016 and released later that year on September 21, 2016.

-Google Duo – A video chat mobile app developed by Google. Announced May 18, 2016 and its worldwide release began August 16, 2016.

-Google+ – It’s a social network based around your Google Account. Its based around interests.

-Photos – Google offers this program to share and store photos. You are given storage for photos up to 16 megapixels and videos up to 1080p resolution.

-Contacts – A contact management tool that is available for Gmail. Its’s a business-oriented suite of web apps

-Keep – It’s a note-taking service. It’s available on the web, mobile apps for both Android and iOS mobile systems.

-AdWords – Googles paid advertising product. It makes peoples businesses noticed when searching through google.

-AdSense – Used to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements. They are targeted to site content and audience.

-Analytics – Used to track and report website traffic. It is the most used analytics service in the world.

-Google My Business – An easy to use tool for businesses and organizations to mangae their online presence. It helps tell the story of your business.

-Google Fit – It uses sensors built into your device to automatically track activities. You also can use it to keep track of fitness goals and weight-loss progress.

-Google Play Games – Online gaming service and software developing kit. It features real-time multiplayer gaming capabilities, cloud saves, social, and public leaderboards.

-Scholar – It provides a simple way to find scholarly literature. This includes: Articles, Theses, Books, Abstracts, and Court Opinions.

-Smartbox – The Google Smartbox is a real mailbox for emails. Once you receive an email the mailbox instantly prints it.

-Project Fi – This is a mobile virtual network. It provides: Phone, messaging, and data services. With or without Wi-Fi.

-Tango – Google Tango is an augmented reality computing platform. It uses computer vision to detect a persons position relative to the world around them.

-Voice – It is a voicemail service that users are able to customize to their personal preferences. Its mainly a voicemail service but it has other uses.

-Trips – This application can be used to easily plan and organize your trips. You can also track your info and new sights.

-Waze – It’s the worlds largest community-based traffic and navigation app. It’s meant to save people time and gas when commuting by trying to avoid traffic problems.

-Tilt Brush – Tilt Brush is able to help you paint in a 3-D fashion. It uses virtual reality and runs off of virtual reality systems.

-And Many More

These are all applications that us as students should take advantage of and most of them are free without using any additional resources.
