Harry Styles is most well-known as the that guy from One Direction with the hair, like you know, THE HAIR. Or, at least this is how he was known. Now, he can be considered as Harry Styles, the guy who launched his solo career. He released his song Sign of the Times on Friday at 2A.M. central time. The song shot straight up to number one on the US charts, where it still remains. Many Americans (me included) stayed up just to listen to the song, which was highly anticipated. Styles is the third (or technically fourth) to release solo music after One Direction went on their hiatus last year. Former band mate Zayn Malik has an album, Mind of Mine, and band mates Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have both released singles, This Town and Just Hold On, respectively. The rest of Styles’ album is said to be coming out “soon.” He also is making his debut as an actor in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, which has a release date of July 21 in the states. Dunkirk is about the evacuation of British and French troops from France when they were completely surrounded by the German army. Case in short, this is just the beginning of a very promising solo career for Styles.
